Who Is Eligible for Head Start?
Head Start offers free services to families who meet federal low-income guidelines. Families who receive
public assistance or other subsidies may also be eligible. Those who are not eligible for free services may qualify to enroll in Childcare
services for a minimal fee.
Head Start Children must be at least three years old as of September 1.
Early Head Start provides services
for pregnant women, babies, and toddlers up to three years old.
All Head Start and Early Head Start families must reside in designated
area of operation.
