Our Aurora Central Office and our Head Start preschool centers are open to serve the public. Clients may stop by any of these locations with inquiries regarding our Head Start programs, or to apply for their age-eligible children. Our Head Start program promotes the Kindergarten readiness of young children aged 3-5 years, for income-eligible families in Kane and DeKalb counties and surrounding areas.

How We Can Help

Childcare Assistance
This program assists working parents with daycare costs. Licensed childcare facilities approved by DHS are eligible for up to 50% weekly co-payments.

Food Pantries
In partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank, Two Rivers operates two food pantries, located in Aurora & Elgin.

Community Services
Two Rivers Head Start Agency is your community-action agency, providing assistance to families living in Kane County.
