TRHSA encourages the role of parents as their child’s first and most important teachers.
Our Early Head Start program serves pregnant mothers, infants, and toddlers. Early Head Start programs are available to the family until the child turns 3 years old and is ready to transition into the Head Start program.
Our Early Head Start program also offers home-based services, in which a staff person visits children once a week in their own home and works with the parent as the child’s primary teacher.
Head Start Program
Our Head Start program then steps in and continues services until the child turns 5 and is eligible for Kindergarten. Our Head Start program promotes the school readiness of young children from income-eligible families across a 5-county region of northern Illinois.
The TRHSA Head Start program supports the mental, social, and emotional development of children from ages 3 to 5 years by offering children and their families a variety of comprehensive services.
Our community program is designed to provide a range of services to assist income-eligible residents of Kane County to attain the skills, knowledge and financial aid necessary to achieve self-sufficiency.
